Pat Traver Audio Story

SMU sophomores Aden Abiye of Ethiopia and Audrey Addo of Ghana started the African Student Association, not to be confused with the Association of Black Students, this month. They decided to start the club in order to celebrate and educate people about African cultures, which are rich with traditional food, dancing and strong communities. When Audrey hears the traditional drums in this African song, she can’t help but get up and dance.

  1. This is very nice! Good Job Pat! I hope that through all your creative work with your Journalism interest, you get to inform student, staff, faculty and others about what is going on here at the campus of SMU. I hope everyone will find the interest also to come to one of ASA’s meetings to learn more about AFRICA and what is going on there!
